Oh God, The Spice Girls Want To Reform

Spice Girls World Tour 2007: London - Exclusive Performance

The four remaining Spice Girls aren’t going to let the success of Victoria Beckham hamper their plans to try and make it big (again) after rumours have emerged that they plan to reform without her – after all, they probably need the cash.

Whilst whispers of a comeback have been on the cards for months now, it has been clear that Posh Spice has now become such a star in her own right that she doesn’t need to make a couple of extra bucks by prancing around like a desperate has been.

Don’t get me wrong, I loved the Spice Girls when I was about 14, but it’s time to let it go now, we’ve got GaGa, we’ve got the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus, our cheesy pop collection is complete – please don’t make me watch four middle aged women trying to be cool again.

So, regardless of The Mirror reporting that Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Mel B and Mel C met together to finalise plans for a new album, a DVD, merchandising and a new tour, I really hope they see the light and leave it to the young kids now.
