Young Guns’ New Video Is Delicious

Young Guns Stiches

Let’s face it, anything with Gustav Wood in it is going to go down well in an office full of females any day of the week… but Gustav showing off thos buff-ting arms and pointing those little eyes out of your screens… oh my.

We are of course talking about the video to Young Guns new single (and the best track on their album), Stitches.

Shot in glorious black and white (which always makes people look better) the boys  battle the four elements, a piano in flames, as well as a hawk named Fern in what is undoubtedly their most delicious video yet.

Don’t just take my word for it though, get yourself a cuppa and have a watch below. We think we’re in love…

Emmure & Friends Announce The Mosh Lives Tour

European metalheads rejoice as this spring “The Mosh Lives Tour” will make its inaugural journey over the pond with the mightyEmmure headlining a stellar package rounded out with Winds of Plague and War From A Harlots Mouth (who will be rotating in the direct support slot) and iwrestledabearonce as openers.

This marks the third installment of “The Mosh Lives Tour” and features its most devastating package yet. This trek also marks Emmure’s first trip back in Europe since the “Never Say Die Tour” and it will also be their first run in support of their highly anticipated new album.

The new offering, Speaker of The Dead, was produced by Joey Sturgis (Asking Alexandria) and is quickly being hailed as their most utterly violent offering yet. Frankie Palmeri states “We are thrilled to announce our upcoming European tour dates! So many brutal bands, we couldn’t be happier to have with us to bring down the house!”

Johnny (vocals) from Winds of Plague further comments: “We are continuing our global domination campaign into 2011 with the announcement of our participation in the first ever European/UK ‘Mosh Lives Tour’ headlined by our good friends in Emmure.

The tour’s line-up is insane and will prove to be an awesome, exciting show from start to finish. This will be our first tour after the release of our new album, Against The World, and we plan to throw in some new tracks into the mix of some Decimate The Weak favorites. This will be our most energetic and relentless set list to date. You have been warned.”

War From A Harlot’s Mouth states: “We’re stoked to announce the THE MOSH LIVES European tour with our buddies in EMMURE. After playing last year’s NEVER SAY DIE! tour with them we’re more than excited to get back on the road with these guys once again. With WINDS OF PLAGUE and IWABO all bands make for a nicely diverse package, so this tour is most definitely gotta have something for everyone! We can’t wait to get started.”

Few bands around today are able to deliver an entertaining live show, but the live performance is where EMMURE excels and they always aim to set a very high standard for themselves. It would suffice to say that they experience a transformation upon stepping on any stage and turn into a dominant beast that is out for blood unleashing a frenzy of energy upon the masses that can’t be contained. This is exactly why the band emerged from the Warped Tour 2010 as one of the festival’s most talked about acts. If you are a fan of heavy music and haven’t seen a live EMMURE show then you are truly missing out.

Rounding out the bill in the UK will be VISIONS (Basick Records), while on the mainland Redfield Records’s own We Set The Sun will open each show.

Avenged Sevenfold Tour Diary. M Shadows Looks Hot.

Just look at M Shadows… look at him. Wow, he’s a dreamboat. Anyway… he’s recorded these lovely tour diaries just for you, so have a listen to him sharing A7X’s favourite Rev stories, thoughts on tattoos & golf as well as drunken Johnny Stories from the Road.

“Win A Date With Justin Bieber.” You’re Alright Thanks…

Seriously. I was settled in bed last night watching some programme about big fat gypsy weddings (thank God for subtitles), when my Blackberry pinged and I got an email from, Justin Bieber.

Obviously it was from Justin Bieber’s ‘people’ – I’d never give him my email address – but the heading declared; “Your Ticket to Never Say Never Could Get You a Date with Justin Bieber!”

I see a few problems with this;

1) I don’t have a ticket to see JB, and I have no intention of purchasing one.

2) I am far too old for Justin and do not condone adults going on dates with young boys.

3) I could be a man. Why, if I was a man, would I want to purchase a ticket to a Justin Bieber concert, and then be subjected to a romantic date with the floppy haired teen.

4) Isn’t he already going out with that Disney girl?

I need a better spam filter.

Could This Be The Best Tour Of 2011?

Fresh off the back of playing their biggest shows to date, culminating at the historic Wembley Arena alongside Bullet For My Valentine, Sheffield metallers Bring Me The Horizon have announced an 8 date UK headline tour 22nd – 30th April.

Bring Me The Horizon have proven themselves to be one of the most interesting, popular and genre defining bands of their generation, pushing their unique brand of heavy music to new levels and this year smashed into the world’s charts with their third album There Is a Hell, Believe Me I’ve Seen It, There Is A Heaven, Let’s Keep It A Secret.  Joining BMTH on the road will be a selection of the finest modern metal bands around – critically acclaimed Byron Bay Australians Parkway Drive, Brighton rising stars Architects, and US metalcore giants The Devil Wears Prada.

“Every tour we are currently doing is gearing up for this tour. It’s going to be our biggest and most ambitious tour to date” notes BMTH vocalist Oli Sykes. “I can say for myself, and I think for our fans, this is the best line up of bands on one bill we have ever put together. I mean BMTH, Parkway Drive, Architects and TDWP all on one tour? In the UK? How could it be better?” Sam Carter of Architects is equally excited about the tour: “This tour is insane! Has anyone ever seen a line up this good? Seriously?!  This tour is going to be absolutely HUGE!”

TDWP frontman Mike had this to say: “Our band has a bad habit of neglecting territory outside of the US. When we do head overseas, were lucky to have excellent opportunities, such as the upcoming run with Bring Me The Horizon. We’re very stoked to be a part of the BMTH UK tour in the spring.” And Winston, Parkway Drive frontman added: “BMTH in the UK!?  I don’t think it gets much crazier does it? It looks like it’s shaping up to be THE tour of 2011, we can’t wait!”
